I gave away your business cards already, I have ALOT of people asking where I got mine from, and many many compliments. :) I should have scanned them on my scanner and printed out more to hand out. I think you do really wonderful work, and obviously so does my town (amarillo), I get compliments and "Where'd u get that" questions all the time! About Our Ring Slings
1. How much weight can a Ring Sling hold? Alot, I sew each sling with strength in mind. In this picture below, sling holds 130 lbs of weight with ease. So if your wondering how long you can carry your child, well that's up to you and your child. As you can see my slings are Super Strong.
2. Are your ring slings padded?
No, our ring slings are not padded. We find they are more comfortable this way. But a custom order with padding can be arranged.
3. Do you do custom orders?
Yes, custom orders are always welcomed. Please see our policies page for more info.
4. Do slings come with instructions?
Yes, every sling comes with instructions, and you are always welcome to contact me via email or phone if you have questions troubleshooting, I am here to help and assist you.
5. What size are the slings and what kind of rings do you use?
Size: Most Pre-Made slings are 2 - 1/2 yards long (approx. 90 inches) Unless otherwise noted in the shopping cart. Sometimes I make smalls and extra larges so please read the shopping cart information to know what size you are purchasing.
Rings - I carry two kinds :
Nickel Plated Steel: Made to with stand weight 300 lbs and over, nickel plating retains a long lasting polished look that will not rust. I tested this by leaving a Ring in the shower for one month, it never rusted. So these are perfect with our Mesh Water Slings.
Aluminum Rings: What the company says about their rings:
These are high quality, lightweight aluminum rings made specifically for ring slings. They are weld-free aluminum. Our rings have been tested by an outside facility and have withstood a pull test of over 3,000 pounds without breaking.
6. Can I nurse my baby in a ring sling? Ring slings are perfect for nursing in private, each sling has a tail section which is perfect for draping over your shoulder for nursing in private. Have you seen those nursing covers? Well think of a Ring Sling as a Sling-Nursing Cover All-In-One. What a deal.
7. I am plus size, do you make them longer than 90 inches?
Yes, I would be happy to accommodate you, simply email me your Size.
8. I am petite, can I have my sling shortened?
Yes of course, just email me with your request prior to purchase. unfortunately "some" pre-made slings cannot be shortened due to design so please email me first. You can also have one custom made for you at the same comparable prices as pre-mades.
How long will I be able to use my sling?
Unlike store bought carriers that infants out grow very quickly, you can use your carrier from birth through toddler hood. As long as your child wants to be carried, our slings will hold. Each sling made is carefully sewn with pride and multiple stitching is used to reinforce the sling to make a strong hold.
9. How do I wash my sling?
I wash mine in cold water in a non-scented detergent, I either line dry or place in the dryer on low heat with a sock around the rings to prevent banging in the dryer.
10. Can doll slings be used for human babies?
No, these slings are small and specifically made for toddlers to carry their dolls. They are not wide enough for babies and the rings are craft rings which are not sturdy enough to hold the weight of a baby.
11. How long will I be able to use my sling?

What is an "Every Mama Sling"? |
| An "Every Mama Sling" is an affordable sling for every mama. Does this mean less quality? Of course not, I would never sell something of lesser quality. The only difference is, sometimes I have coupons for fabric specials, sometimes I hit Joanne fabrics when they are having lots of sales, sometimes I need to sell off some of my Sling Stock to make room on my website for new slings. |
